“Big Grid Shortcodes” in the editor (WPBakery Visual Composer) are stopped to showing. Previously created entries in the classic editing mode shows shortcodes in the text, but the visual appearance shows blank lines. Previously published posts are displayed correctly, but something new Big Grid Blocks can not be created, because they are not in the visual editor.

Hello smga,

Ensure that you are using the latest theme version and also, only the required plugins which come bundled with the theme version. Also, if your blocks and Big Grids are added with Visual Composer and if you want to edit them with TD Composer, notice that you cannot do this but only if you will recreate them from scratch with our page builder. If the problem is still there, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) so we can further inspect it closer your setup page. Provide there the link to this topic so we can quickly identify you.

Thanks for your understanding!

Thanks for the quick response!
I believe that the problem appeared after the update WPBakery Visual Composer separately from the template.
If I delete the plugin, and then install it from the template (as written in the instructions here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/), it will not destroy this previously created entries and pages?

Hello smga,

You should not update the Visual Composer because this latest plugin’s version was not yet tested with our theme and that’s why you can get some errors in the theme, sorry! Notice that we will update the theme with this VC version as soon as possible.

Thanks for your understanding!

Yes, I now know this.
But the fact is that I have already updated the plug-in separately and I have problems (as it seems to me) because of this.
Will it destroy my site content if I delete the plugin and update it from the template box?

Hello smga,

Sorry for this but it was your bad. You can use a plugin for maintenance mode until you make this change and then you can rule your website without any problem.

Thanks for your understanding!

It is a pity that there is no direct answer to my question.
Thank you for your time.

The problem is solved.
Renamed folder with plugin js_composer by FTP.
Downloaded the last package of template updates and installed a plugin js_composer from it.
Activated the new version of js_composer.
Everything works, the blocks have appeared.
