Hello,
Please first of all make sure you increase your system status parameters like so: https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
If you get all of the settings in the green zone: https://www.screencast.com/t/t6Zr0efJGD2g and the issue is still present, please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
If you have a firewall, set it to learning mode.
Thank you!
Hi mr. Bogdan
Thank you for your answer.
I’ve a doubt about settings you suggested me.
About here https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
I read:
Note â Before trying any of those check the host documentation to see whatâs the recommended method. The location of the php.ini may also differ from one server to the other, usually itâs located in the wordpress root, but on some servers it may be found in another location, you have to check the host documentation for more precise details.
I don’t know what file I have to modify:
php.ini or .htaccess ?
I tried to call my hosting service but they told me they can do anything.
Could you help me please?
My site is: unitusflash.it
Thanks in advance for your reply

Hi,
They should be able to make the modifications for you if needed, as the hosting provider. These are WordPress and server parameters, having them according to the guide will improve the functionality, and in this case probably solve the issue.
The modifications need to be made to the wp-config.php file, then either to the htaccess file or the php.ini file.
Thanks
hi, Thank you very much for your answer
sorry to bothering you again…
My host provider (1and1) doesnt answer to me. They told me that they dont put hands in Worpdress configuration.
I had before Newspaper 7 and all is running without problem.
Actually in Newspaper8 I cannot access to
Block settings – Thumbs on Module/Blocks
and also various categories in:
Categories – Nameofcategories
I dont know how to solve đ
Hi,
If you checked the theme panel system status
– https://www.screencast.com/t/vMCoOEY1
And these parameters are not according to the guide, these changes have to be made. If then hosting does not provide support, at least they could point you in the right direction, regarding what would be the recommended method to do this.
You can try for yourself to locate the htaccess or php.ini file and simply modify the existing values of the parameters or add them entirely, depending of the situation.

Really thanks so much for your suggestions>
I recalled another time my hosting provider and they told me that I must modify php.ini
This is my ORIGINAL php.ini file:
memory_limit = 268435456;
post_max_size = 67108864;
safe_mode = off;
upload_max_filesize = 67108864;
abd this is my modified php.ini as you told me
memory_limit = 268435456;
post_max_size = 50M;
safe_mode = off;
upload_max_filesize = 50M;
max_input_vars = 5000;
max_execution_time = 300;
Actually in system status I’ve two yellow status as you see:

Have I made any mistakes?

Hi,
This is unusual. If you made the changes to the php.ini file this should be reflected in the theme panel as well. Check the file again, maybe you did not save it after making the modifications. Or maybe it is not the right php.ini file.
That is why this is done by the hosting provider as it is basic server and WordPress maintenance, they have to set these properly. It may also require a server restart.
Try adding the values in the htacess file as well. Then check the status again.
I found more possible ways of doing it (through the wp-config file)
– https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/increase-memory-limit/
I am sorry for this inconvenience, but most likely this is caused by these parameters. In almost all cases the hosting takes care of this, without any issues.
Thanks
Thanks so much for your answer…
I checked again and php.ini is saved as follow:
memory_limit = 268435456;
post_max_size = 50M;
safe_mode = off;
upload_max_filesize = 50M;
max_input_vars = 5000;max_execution_time = 300;
php.ini is present in root site and in wp-content directory: both of them are saved as I told before.
I also tried to modify wp-config.php and I set
define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '3000M' )
as described here (https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/increase-memory-limit/)
but nothing has been solved
I’ve always that 2 yellow warnings
I tried to modify also .htaccess below reported:

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator at to inform them of the time this error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Maybe I modified it in a wrong way… colud you explain how to do that?
Thank you very much for your patience and help
A.
Hi,
You modified it right, but it seems that the htaccess method might not be the one needed. Remove it from there to get the website going with no errors. I don’t know what other suggestion I could give you, besides to keep trying to contact and plead with the hosting provider to help you. This is an easy task for them, the least they can do is to point you in the right direction or maybe they have a guide.
Basically the theme has these basic requirements, besides the server and WordPress parameters
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
In these conditions everything should work properly, theme and theme provided plugins.
Thanks
