Prevent duplicate post on homepage

The unique articles feature will work for pages, not posts. The block widgets in the sidebars can be customized in terms of the content they display. The categories can be filtered, posts sorted etc

The block should display posts based on the filter set to it. I see that the block below the big grid displays post from the category IDs you entered in the filter

Only posts from those categories will be displayed in the block.

Let’s make things more clear for a better understanding. The theme creates a Featured category automatically

If you want to display posts from the featured category in a block or grid, simply choose it in the category filter

Post will be displayed from this category, and sorted by the chosen method

If you use category IDs in the filter, posts will be displayed from all those categories, again based on the sorting used.
There is a featured sorting option that displays only featured posts from the desired categories for example
