I installed theme8 of newspaper via ftp to wp-content/theme, when I activate the new theme, all the pages even dashboard lost as following: http://www.gofar.hk/archives/8988
What’s wrong with it? I did not delete the old theme, it is the root?
I have deleted the new theme, but they remains lost. PLS HELP!!

The posts and pages will not be lost by updating the theme, these are kept in the database. Please follow the guide and the steps described

It is always recommended to make backups before updating the theme, just to be safe.
Do not make any modifications to the theme files after updating, deactivate all plugins except theme plugins and clear all caching installed. Then check if there still is a problem.
