Video thumbnail will be downloaded multiple times

Hi there,

I think I encountered a little bug about the automatic thumbnail generation if you choose a featured video. Everytime the post will be saved or viewed as a draft the thumbnail will be downloaded again.

Maybe it would be better to check if the URL changed before downloading the picture again because it will spam your media library with thousands of thumbails if you use the preview often.

Hello Aaron,

If you want to stop creating a lot of size of your images used you should turn off the thumbnails which you are not using on your website, from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-thumbs/

thanks for your reply.
In fact it’s always the same size of a video thumbnail.

If you select a youtube video as a featured video every save process will start download the HQ preview picture of the video again.
