Whenever I share articles from my site with the facbook/social media buttons, there’s no issues what so ever. However, when I comment just the home page URL I get the default image I’ve setup but none of the page description. Instead I just get this under the pic:

However free yoast seo plugin doesn’t have that feature. So what can I do instead of using yoast seo? Since I don’t want to buy premium one.

Notice that you should not buy the premium version of Seo Yoast. This is the default post sharing on Facebook -> https://www.screencast.com/t/r2sM3Ef0HDjt Check if you have og: properties activated and check them into your source page.
