I have a generic wordpress login/register and search bar at the top of my site. How do I get rid of it?

The theme default login can be disabled in the theme panel

I have done this and disabled the sign in/join in the top bar. I have a generic wordpress bar above this with a log-in and search icon. I want to get rid of that. None of my other wordpress sites have it so not sure why?

sorted, it was either the buddypress or new user approve plugins.
disabled both
