Is Visual Composer no longer bundled with Newspaper 8 now that you guys have built TD Composer? I downloaded the latest version of the theme and in Newspaper -> Includes -> Plugins there is only two plugins. td-composer & td-social-composer. I went to use TD Composer a while back and just didn’t care for it. I would like to continue to use Visual Composer. Constantly being told there is an update is annoying though.

It was included in the “All Files & Documentation” download, but not in the “Installable WordPress File Only”. How come?

Likely because they are encouraging new first time users with v8 onward to use TD Composer and it’s part of the theme package; while VC is external bundled product and not ‘part of the theme’ and so is now ‘optional’ product.
I can understand that I suppose. Just was annoying that I have to download a different download over what I have been downloading in order to get the plugin. I also see that is where the speedbooster plugin went to as well. I thought that had also been canned.
Always best to download the ‘all files’ as it includes the CHANGELOG so you know what actually changed with any major or minor update.
I tried both, and the VC works for me, better. + it works at back-end which I prefer anyway.
