So, whats included in the theme? When you download the Newspaper theme from your account on themeforest.net, you can choose to download the entire package or just the theme. The full theme package is a .zip file, which contains the following folders and structure:
-
- child-theme – the child theme files are located in the /code folder;
- documentation – this contains the theme’s general info and a link to this comprehensive documentation;
- licensing – information about the general license;
- patch – it contains the modified files from the previous version, this is useful if you make adjustments to the code and you only want to replace the files modified in the latest update
VERY IMPORTANT: The patch folder may not be included with major updates, especially when the theme file structure is changed.
- plugins – the theme’s required and recommended plugins; these are the tagDiv Composer and tagDiv Cloud Library;
- other plugins – these are plugins required for extra functionality: tagDiv Social Counter, tagDiv Newsletter, tagDiv Opt-in Builder, and tagDiv Shop;
- optional plugins – tagDiv Mobile Theme, WPBakery, and Revolution Slider;
- .psd files – includes the .psd files which are useful if you want to customize various aspects of the original design, they are located in the /psd folder;
