Recently updated the theme: When I try to update settings of theme panel, it loads perpetually. Changes will not be made. Any idea what causes this?

Hello kevinang,

Make sure that you are using the latest theme’s version which can be downloaded from Theme Forest install it via FTP way because this is the surest method in this case. -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/

Thanks for your understanding!

Not a solution. I tried reupload the theme (after, just as I said, I updated it), and still the theme panel won’t update.

Can you take a look?

Check your system status for enough RAM; also check you’re using a userlevel high enough to make changes to site; also check PHP version as 5.6 or higher should be used. Older versions are end of life.

The Memory Limit is set on 64MB, and the site is running PHP 7.1. So, no problem there either.

Thank you!

make sure that file is not blocked by a bad robots.txt entry; and make sure it’s actually there !

Nope-not even robots.txt file. I also made sure that the file is there, and it is.

Might be dumb, but double check your www vs non www vs http vs https elements using F12 console to see if a mismatch causing something to not load …. very odd …

I am having the same issue. Deactivated plugins, php is up to date, Newspaper version is 100% up to date. Protocol is not an issue either, in fact it used to work just fine.

It seems like many users are having this issue which leads me to believe there’s some sort of compatibility issue due to an update?

Working for me, but my setup is highly optimized and i avoid funky plugins, dont use speedbooster, dont use multiple pagebuilders, etc.

Always remember when doing updates you seriously need to clear all caching, clear transients, and browser cache cleared. Many java issues are client side.

Hello,

It could be a plugin that is no longer compatible with the new version of the theme or certain blocked content from the host side. We have encountered both situations so please disable all plugins and clear all caching and then check for any blocked files in htaccess and contact your host and ask for any blocked files from the host side.

Thank you!
