Making a gallery

I would like to make a gallery page where there are a lot of thumbnails that open up to bigger pictures when you click on them and you can click through them like this site http://www.southbaychildrenschoir.com/contact-us.html. How can I do that?

Thanks!

Hi,

On pages you could use the image box element for example
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/image-box/
On posts you could use the theme gallery, or the default WordPress gallery
https://forum.tagdiv.com/gallery-2/
Or simply add pictures in the post content

Or maybe try a gallery plugin that has the options you need.

Thanks

I realized I could use the Image Gallery in Visual Composer and select Image Grid, Thumbnail, Open prettyPhoto to make the photo gallery that I want. However, when I click the photos to open to bigger versions using Open prettyPhoto, the pictures are blurry. How can I set it up so that Open prettyPhoto will open clear versions of the thumbnail pictures?

Thanks!

Hi,

I have tried the Visual composer gallery, there is no image blurring applied on the images I selected from what I can see. I chose images of different sizes, small ones to big ones, with the same settings as you mention

The results are here

The image processing is done entirely through Visual composer, there are no settings to choose in the image gallery in terms of quality.
If a smaller image is used in it, it will not stretch it to become blurry, it will be displayed as it is. If there are bigger images there should be no problem.
If you could provide a link to this gallery on your website, we will inspect it.

Thanks
