Hi,
I brought Newsmag because i wanted to use the centered with side padding layouts in the ‘full layout vintage’ https://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag/power-is-only-for-real-mens-not-for-boys/ and ‘full layout nutrition’ https://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag/my-girlfriend-has-exhausted-our-strategic-supply-of-string-cheese/ post samples.
However I can’t find a default post template that matches these layouts even with sidebar turned off.
Which template should I be using please?
Thanks,
K
Hello again,
ive just installed the Fashion demo which has the paragraphs with side padding
but the padding is nowhere near the same on my install.
The link above has td-paragraph-padding-5 but my installed demo doesn’t.
How do i use td-paragraph-padding-5 on my install?
Hello all,
If you want to select this padding text style you should do from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/9i6U8eii
Hope this helps!
Thanks for the message!
Hi Catalin,
I’d like to do it Newspaper theme too. I couldn’t see how so brought Newsmag.
So basically you’re saying there isn’t actually a template with that style and that if i want that style I’m actually going to have to go through every single post and manually set the text padding?
Also wondering:
How do you make the images within posts remain full width?
How do you make the sub title appear below the main image?
As in this example: https://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag/power-is-only-for-real-mens-not-for-boys/
Thanks,
K

Hello kesp,
Please notice that the Newsmag theme has the same options with the Newspaper theme if you will take a closer look at the post option from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/lfcbRuVhB8n
Also, if you want to make a post image to be full width you should set up this option from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/3uMNiqHCebQ
Regarding on subtitle section, please check out all of our post templates because each of them has various styles. Check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-post-templates/
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi Catalin,
Ok so are you saying there isn’t actually a template that has the extra padding already?
Like this: https://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag/power-is-only-for-real-mens-not-for-boys/
I have to go through every post and set the padding manually as I could do in Newspaper anyway?
And which demo/template do i use for the subtitle below main image style please?
The only reason I chose Newsmag is because of that template: https://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag/power-is-only-for-real-mens-not-for-boys/
There’re no templates on Newspaper like that one hence.
Hello kesp,
All the post templates styles for Newspaper can be seen here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/post-templates-2/ Does not exist on Newspaper that kind of post template because it was custom made for Newsmag but it can be achieved by yourself if you will customize it if you will use the available options from the panel.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello kesp,
Because the Newspaper does not have any kind of post template that allows you to achieve this type of post, you should customize it yourself manually. The subtitle section has been designed to be part of meta information container which is always situated under the post title, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/erclX0kqOSdp The style of this element may vary depending on post template used by you.
If is not what you mean, please provide some useful screenshot with your requirements so I will be able to inspect it closer and also, if it’s possible to provide a more accurate response.
Thanks for the message!
Hi Catalin,
Thanks but i’m asking about Newsmag. The sub title below main image example is on Newsmag
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag/power-is-only-for-real-mens-not-for-boys/
I was using newspaper but brought newsmag because i want this layout: https://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag/power-is-only-for-real-mens-not-for-boys/
Thanks,
K
Hello kesp,
Unfortunately, I do not exactly understand what you mean. Please keep in mind that in your example does not exist any subtitle element, sorry! Above, I have pointed you where exactly is a subtitle, as you can see in that image here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/erclX0kqOSdp Please provide a useful screenshot to show me what subtitle you’re talking more accurate.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi Catalin,
The sub title i’m referring to is the bold text below the main image here: https://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag/power-is-only-for-real-mens-not-for-boys/ where it says ‘Now principles discovered off increasing how reasonably middletons men. Add seems out man met plate court sense.’
I’ll try and do a screen grab later if that’s not clear.
Thanks,
K
Hello kesp,
Please notice that section does not a subtitle. It’s simple H3 tag as you can see here
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/QRcYX98W5P6u You can add this from the post editor, at the top of it, if you will use a post template which displays the featured image at the very top of the post page.
Hope this helps!
