Hi,
I’ve installed the theme and the child theme. When i installed the “Redis object cache” plugin and connected it i’ve suddenly logged out of the admin area.
When i logged back in i noticed that the standard WordPress theme (twenty…) was enabled. I again enabled the Newsmag child theme but now i keeps asking to “Please activate the theme!”
If i do this it is succesfull, but when i switch to another area of the backend the notification is back…
Please help..

Based on your item purchase code you should activate your theme from the backend page. Please check the following documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-activate-the-theme/ and try to do the same steps in order to activate your theme. If you cannot do this, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) so we can further inspect it closer your setup page. Provide there the link to this topic so we can quickly identify you. Also, there you should provide your unique item purchase code for validation.

Yes, i’ve tried to activate the theme from the backend (theme panel).
However, i’ve restarted my Redis server again, since before i’ve installed Newsmag, i had another website on the same server.
With that action taken the activation seems to hold. Could the Redis object cache be the cause of this?
Anyway, the problem is gone 🙂

The theme should have to be activated only by an Item Purchase Code, according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-activate-the-theme/ If you cannot do this, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) so we can further inspect it closer your setup page. Provide there the link to this topic with your item purchase code so we can try to activate the theme.

Problem seems to be solved By restarting my redis server.
Maybe that was the Cause why the licence wouldn’t hold
I’ve sended a mail. After 1 day no problems, the theme says again it’s not active.
