Upgrading from 8.1 to 8.5

Hi

i tried to do the upgrade and it totalled my site, i got the site back up now but i am slightly scared to the upgrade now

do i just copy the newspaper directory over the old one or do i need to do something else and if so what ?

Please follow this guide to properly update the theme

Depending on chosen update method, if you follow the mentioned steps there will be no problem. The most recommended method is by FTP.
