Hello,
I would like to add 4 images that will represent 4 research areas, and want them to be clickable. Please see this example for what is my idea: http://www.crpm.org.mk/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/333.png
The website is http://www.crpm.org.mk.
However, I did that with tagdiv builder and those are posts. But instead I would like them to be just 4 different pictures that can be clickable and that will lead to four different pages. I tried with both tagdiv builder and visual composer and the pictures look like this: http://www.crpm.org.mk/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/photos.png
It doesn’t matter if I change the photo size into medium size, thumbnail or full size, it always look like this. Please advise me what to do?
Thanks,
Blagoj
Hello BlagojGjelevski,
You should try using our multipurpose plugin because there you will find a lot of useful elements which can use them for your project. As an example, if you want to add 4 images to your frontend, you should use the inline single image element, set up your Row for two columns and the results should look like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/L8AjBvymU -> https://www.screencast.com/t/EcYLbzcLKLd
Hope this helps!
Thanks for the message!
I apologize, but I cannot find that element (inline single image) in the elements in tagdiv page builder.
This means you did not update to the new version. It is a brand new element that comes with newspaper 8.5 and the new multi-purpose plugin. Please update your theme using this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Thank you!
Thank you! I have update the theme and found that element.
But another problem emerges. When I put the photos they are shown square size, regardless if I change the image width or if the pictures are not square size. Please see the screenshot: http://www.crpm.org.mk/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/inline-single-image.png
How to make the pictures not squared?
Thank you,
Blagoj
Hello,
Please make sure you regenerate thumbnails by using this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/
Thank you!
Sorry, just one more question regarding this topic. How can I link these photos to certain pages?
Hello,
You can add an image link from the media library when you add an image to the theme element: https://www.screencast.com/t/k4FhBjN1c
Thanks
Hmm it is weird. I did that, but the link does not appear i.e. the photos are not clickable. Please check: http://www.crpm.org.mk The boxes below the slider.
Hi,
Yes, that seems to be the case. Maybe the inline image is not the right element in this case since it does not have an option to set a custom link. This might be added later.
You could try the Title over image element, which has an option to set a custom link for the images like this

Sorry for the misunderstanding and the created inconvenience.
Thank you!
Thank you Simion, I tried that, but now again have problem but the picture size.
Please see this screenshot > http://www.crpm.org.mk/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/dimensions.png
How can I solve that issue.
Thanks,
Blagoj
Hi,
You can control the block height, there is a a setting for that

There are also multiple image settings in this element, that you can use to create the needed result.
Thanks
