Is it possible to show only related News of the last 365 days or so? Sometimes it shows pretty old stuff.

You can customize the more article box from theme panel > post settings and set it to show latest post: http://screencast.com/t/2LT84T8u

Thanks, but that was not the question.
I need random articles (based on tags, not only the latest) and within a specific period of time. E.g. the last year or the last three month.
