Hi, I’ve followed the directions shown here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/import-export-theme-settings/ but my imported settings don’t do anything. I made several changes to the theme, exported the string, then reset the site, and imported to test it. No dice. Any ideas? Thanks in advance

I have tested the import export feature, there is no problem with it. The theme panel settings are exported and imported properly

All the theme panel settings are imported properly. Header style, font settings, colors etc. So there should not be any problem for you as well, from the theme perspective as long as you are doing it correctly.
Please check as well the theme system status, ask your hosting provider to make modifications if needed according to this guide

Thanks for the response. Check. Done all of that so far. And yes, double-checked, I am doing it correctly. It appears that some changes stall the theme. For example, changing backgrounds, changing the logo, or the aforementioned import of the settings. Once the theme hangs, any changes simply don’t take effect. I’ve gone through all of the usual suspects: caching (within WordPress, server-side and client-side), and so on. I also, modified the php.ini file successfully so that it meets Newspaper theme specs.
Sometimes, if I leave the theme and make modifications elsewhere (say in posts), and then return to the theme, changes will work again, for a time.
Perhaps the theme is just too powerful for my website given the amount of traffic I currently receive. My host won’t make any additional modifications for me at this time.
Any ideas?

If the theme panel hangs or fails to complete the saving of settings, in almost all cases this was caused by insufficient resources.
Other similar issues were sometimes caused by security plugins or server modules, which blocked theme requests.
