Child theme shows: Version: 7.7c

I have bought your theme about 1 month ago.

I uploaded the “Child Theme” which is included in your package via FTP to my server.
When I select the “Child Theme” in the WP-Admin.interface, the child-theme is named “Newspaper 7 Child theme” and “Version: 7.7c”.

When I do activate the “Child Theme” and then go to the “Theme Panel”, then the Theme Panel is in grey color and de-activated, meaning it is not possible to work in the “Theme Panel”.

How do I activate or create a “Child Theme” from the Theme-version 8.5 ?

Hi,

There will be no problem using the child theme provided in the theme package, we will modify the version in the future update, however this will not affect the child theme functionality in any way.
There was an issue similar to what you are describing, in the previous theme version. It is fixed in the latest theme version. Please update the theme

Update the theme plugins as well, specially the multi-purpose plugin. Then there should be no more problems. Let us know otherwise.

I think you should update the theme-versions and theme-version-images, otherwise it is confusing.
