We are using Video News template of Newspaper 8.5 theme, video on the post page are showing up at the bottom instead of the black panel at the top as shows in the actual demo of Video News template.

Click on the any video on the link http://latidune.com/?cat=399 and go to the post page.
Is it a featured or header image issue where the theme is handling it differently ? Please visit the sites and let us know if we should do any config changes or CSS code updates.

Please regenerate thumbnails after doing this, so the custom sizes will be created

1. Did as suggested for Video placement issue, nothing changed. Any other suggestions ?
2. Also, how do we make changes in “Recommended Videos” section on the home page ? It is mixing up with text posts instead of just displaying video thumbnails. The visual editor of tagdiv doesn’t allow editing properties of anything below “Dont’s Miss” section on the home page.

I figured the #2 solution and made changes through widgets, please ignore. Now we just have to figure out how to get the videos in the post show up in the top black panel (Featured Video ?) instead of bottom block. We are using WPRSS Aggregator for feeds if that helps. Thanks.

Unfortunately, please notice that our theme has not been tested with WP RSS Aggregator for feeds and also, we cannot say for sure if the theme will work or not as expected with this, sorry! Notice that the featured video functionality is very simple and should works if the post has been checked by Video Post. Please read our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-image-or-video/ and there you will see all of the required steps which you have followed in order to achieve video post.
It is worth noting that the video will not play live in the thumb. It will open and the video will run inside the post content. The theme does not have any such an option that allows you to take any external data/feeds and place it in the blocks/grids, sorry!

That’s weird. Then, which feeds plugin does this theme work with ?
Given that it is a newspaper theme for video news model, granted we are supposed to pull feeds with video and images from multiple sources along with publishing our content. How do we accomplish bulk automated feeds with this theme ?
I have already looked at this documentation, it doesn’t help.

There is no documentation in the matter. All posts are meant to be created and published manually, using either a featured image or a video from the supported sources. Then there should be no problem. The theme does not have any options for bulk posting or RSS feeds.
You could try plugins that have such capabilities and make tests, we cannot make any recommendations unfortunately.
