I mean come on! When theme is uploaded via FTP, whole wp-content directory vanished and even some server config is reverted to default. What happened?
I needed to delete WordPress itself because of all that. And when started via FTP, suddenly “Newspaper” folder can be seen together with wp-content on delete part. Before that wp-content folder was gone like it’s deleted. This is serious people! Please answer why that happened.
Why you couldn’t make theme update directly through WP admin with 1 stupid click! Your update methods are the worst I’ve ever seen!

I really love this theme, but got an email about updating as well. I was surprised that updates aren’t through WordPress.
I hope this is a feature that is coming soon.
they put a newspaper plugin with this update to solve that issue.
That is an unusual issue, I don’t know how would updating a theme inside the wp-content folder cause the whole wp-content folder to disappear and also reconfigure the server. Ask your hosting provider if there were any issues with the server, check error logs.

It simply happened. I don’t know what caused it, but also know how to upload themes, so…it just happened. Anyway, I managed to fix everything by deleting completely database and WP installation. After that, installed WP again, installed new updated theme and then backup uploaded without theme backup folder. After that all issues are fixed.
