Pull down filter option on custom taxonomy ?

Hi.

currently I’m building an ABC index of our posts using a custom taxonomy called alphabetical letter.
Upon opening those archive pages I noticed the pull down filter, which is normally present at category archive pages is missing.
Is it possible to get this back again and if so how ?

Hi,

That filter would be present on default category pages, if enabled

Each category template will display it

Taxonomies do not have templates or specific settings in the matter, so they will not display the pull-down filter.

So technically if I create taxonomy templates like those for the categories and refer to them it might work ?

You could give that a try, maybe you can do it. The theme does not have a lot of options and settings targeted for custom post types and taxonomies, these would be all of them at the moment
