I’m using Newspaper theme 8. I tried to create a custom sidebar for a particular category so I go to “Theme panels->Categories->Per Category settings and set the custom sidebar in the drop-down list as illustrated in this screenshot

Also, please do not use symbols (!@#$%^&*) for the title of the widgets because it seems that affects the functionality of the sidebar. For more information about the sidebars, please consult our documentation here

I can choose the custom sidebar from this drop-down list https://gyazo.com/b2564134891809a64620974671c18e18 but that setting is not saved. Whenever I click away and come back to this category sidebar setting, the sidebar setting is back to “default sidebar”.
