Facebook & Instagram issues

Hello all,

I’ve been using Newspaper theme for a few months now, and I’m experiencing issues with both the « Social Counter » and the footer instagram section.

My problem with the social counter :
– I never managed to configure the facebook button. Even though I got the ID right, it stills shows “0 likes” and an error page when clicking.
– The Instagram followers count is stuck on 83, even though I have more now.

My problem with the footer instagram section:
– The last photo it shows is from 4 months ago, which is annoying since I’ve published more since.

Hi Bogdan,

I have upgraded the newspaper theme from 8.1 to 8.7.5 version and the instagram footer section have disappeared; no pictures are displayed. Please check https://andreeachinesefood.ro/ bottom page.
On another hand I have installed a cache plugin and I have cleaned the WP cache like you have indicated on another post but with no result. ( I have cleaned the browser cache too )
I don’t have the 8.7.4 theme package to test it. What do I need to do in order to fix the footer instagram section?

Thanks for your answer!

However, after updating everything I could possibly update (theme & plugins), I’m still facing the exact same problems:
– My Facebook fans count is still at 0 and the social counter plugin doesn’t recognize my Facebook ID (when I click on the facebook button, I get an error page)
– Instagram is still blocked at 83 followers on the social count plugin, and the footer Instagram tool doesn’t show any picture anymore. But when I click on the Instagram button, it does show my profile.
– Twitter works fine now, which is weird because it’s the only one that was affected by the update.
