Hi,

Is it possible to alter the number of articles shown on a Tag page? I can alter the type of block that is used on the page, but not the number of articles shown.

Example: https://footballinside.net/tag/world-cup/

Thanks in advance.

Hello LenFI,

You can alter the number from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/xPAqN4f8M5 and also, another alternative, in this case, would be to load a Tag template and limit the post loop to a certain number of posts, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/GB29FcncbCt

Thanks.

Hi Catalin,
i had the same question, but i think the best solution is to add pagination? Can we achieve that?

Thanks

Hello George,

Sorry, but the theme does not have any such an option that allows you to add a pagination in this case, unfortunately! If you will use a block and sort it by tags, you can add a pagination from Block Settings.

Thanks for your understanding!

Hi Catalin, thanks for the info. This has helped me a lot. Only thing I can’t find is how load a tag template and edit it with the tagdiv composer…

Another question for this issue: Would it be possible to load specific sidebars on different tag pages?

Hello LenFI,

Please check our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
Notice that you can use the Widgetized Sidebar element for a Tag page and then you can load any widget you want from Widgets section.

Thanks for the message!

Thanks for the answer Catalin.

Another two questions on Tag pages.

Since the theme update today the Tag tag is shown on the Tag Archive page: https://footballinside.net/tag/bournemouth/

As you can at the top it displays: Tag: Bournemouth..

How do I get rid of the ‘Tag:‘ part? I have been looking in the code, but I can’t seem to locate the area.

I have tried hiding it with CSS, but that makes the complete title go away…

Question 2:
Is it possible to hide the Tag description on that page? I want to use the description for SEO purposes, but I don’t want to use too much text if the text is shown on the page.

I have tried to hide it with CSS using ‘entry-content’ as a parameter. However, the text still shows…

Thanks again for the support.

Hello LenFI,

1)If you want to remove the ‘Tag:’ word you should edit the tag.php core file and remove from there the word, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/5VqRmVeAtcHm
2)You should use such a custom CSS code if you want to make this change. Provide your website URL and some useful screenshots with your desired changes.

Thanks for the message!
