Hey,
Plugins will not install – TagDiv AMP & Tag Div Social Counter. The social counter it says actions are forbidden and with AMP it says “plugin not activated” and then says “a higher version of this plugin is needed to work, please update.”
I am not sure how to update as it is not showing up in my plugin section and only in my theme panel section of my site.
I am also having issues with my sidebar for posts. I have 2 ads and need to put a widget in the middle of the 2 ads for my article pages and latest posts section but it keeps deleting my widgets.
Thank you.
Hello,
Please use this guide to update the plugins: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-how-to-update-a-plugin/
if your ad keeps deleting widgets, then it probably contains special characters that break the wordpress widgets area. In this case, you can try the adrotate plugin and use adrotate shortcodes for implementing the special type of ads you use
Thank you!
I followed the instructions and none of the plugins would update. A warning in red would come up saying
“THIS PLUGIN IS AUTOMATICALLY DISABLED
The following plugins were disabled because they are incompatible with this version of Newspaper:”
Then it links me to the page you linked me to already. I am not sure what else to try. I have the latest version as I just purchased this theme a few days ago. I can’t find an update since then. What else can I do to get the plugins to work with my site?
How to I get to the ftp and delete them? I have bought 3 of your themes recently and can not get the plugins to work on any of them.
Thank you.
Hi,
That message if displayed if you for example updated the theme but not the plugins. The tagDiv composer and social counter plugin should update automatically, but it seems sometimes this fails.
An update button should be displayed in the theme plugins panel for most theme plugins, after you update the theme

Or you can simply delete them and reinstall them from the latest theme package you download
