I need help with the social share plugin. I have followered the instructions and the share buttons link to my social media channels but none of the followers are registered there is just a 0 for each one.
I set up the facebook app with the ID and security key, created a token; everything appears to be working except the followers don’t register.
There is also an issue with the Instagram element that has an error: check ID. I double checked the numeric ID and it is correct.

Hello,
If you have an app id and security key for fb, our counter will not work. That is the old implementation of the theme. it was updated to the new implementation after the GDPR law.

Thanks for your help. I have updated the theme and plugins and the instagram element is now working, but I’m afraid the social counter still doesn’t display the followers numbers, but the App ID settings has been removed.
All my IDs are correct and I also cleared the cache. What do you think could be preventing the numbers from displaying?

The counter is affected by cache as well. Now it works as expected. Please check again as your counters now pull the correct information.
