Hi,
I’m still working on my staging site and I have a new article that has a video in it. I’ve selected the Video format, added the YouTube link (as I’ve done for multiple other articles) and the featured image is not being created. I’ve removed the article and started from scratch, thinking that it might have been created wrong or something, but it’s still not created the featured image. We’re planning on launching the site tomorrow, but I want to make sure this is a one-time freak accident and it’s not going to be the default state of things. Any suggestions on what I can do to get the featured image to be created, or why it might not come up?

Make sure that you are using the latest version of the theme, remove all of the untested plugins, clear all the caches and check the results. Also, make sure that your system status parameters are correctly increased according to the following useful guide from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ Also, please notice that if your problem is still there, I need to check your website.

I am having the same issues with the Featured Image not being generated with YouTube videos, have been doing it the last two years but can’t seem to get it to work now with version 9. I have deactivated all plugins and cleared cache and still not working.

This problem might happen due to an old PHP version. Please update it to 7, 7.1 or 7.2, try with another YT videos, clear all the caches, purge CDN files and check the results.
