Trying to add text block on front end editor. It opens but overlaps the left rail/column and top to the point where, I cannot save the text. Any way to change the default size of the editor?

You cannot save any change you have made at your website? What’s the real problem? Sorry. Please provide more details and some useful screenshots of the problem so I will be able to provide a more accurate response/code.
