Some duplicate Content

I scanned my Website with a duplica-content Scanner and had to realize, that i have some duplicate content.

For example:
https://www.updayte.de/sport/
https://www.updayte.de/kategorie/sport/
https://www.updayte.de/kategorie/sport/kraftsport/
https://www.updayte.de/schlagwort/muskelaufbau/

Thats all more or less the same Content.

I know the canonical-Tag, but is it required? How i have to set the Canonical URL?
