Hello, i want to create a header menu which behaves exactly like the mega menu in the demo and i cannot do it via the wordpress dashboard.No matter how i set the posts and the categories it simply can’t behave like the one i show below.Can you please offer me some information on how to implement it?

In order to create a mega menu with sub category you need to gave newspaper install,
after that you need to have categories and sub categories then go in appearance menus and select just the category ( don’t select subcategories) click add to main, expand that field you add and set navigation label and click on dropdown and set the category to make it mega menu https://www.screencast.com/t/jZAtEGBUj3

Hi,
I have tried to do as you say but i have ecnoutered a few errors. The option “set this as a category for the mega menu” in the appearance->menus seems to be missing as seen in the screenshots below.
I have tried to uninstall the default demo to install it again but it seems stuck.Is there any further information you can provide?(The theme has been activated for another site and it had the same results still..)

Please try do deactivate all plugins you have active,l it’s possible to interfere with field for mega menu, you can also update the theme .

Can you please be more clear and specific?For instance, how will the deactivation of all the plugins affect the site?Will the update of the theme make the site lose its content?is there another way to do or even test the mega menu field otherwise?Maybe there is a plugin that can “copy” the functionality of the mega menu?

First please make a full backup of your site, then try to deactivate the plugin’s one by one ( there are plugins that interfere with mega menu , deactivate one plugin, refresh and see if appear mega menu https://www.screencast.com/t/5TiSgoURXPu );
If you decide to make update to theme, the updatewill not affect your website .
And yes you could find some plugins but not entirely like mega menu.
