500 Internal Server Error when updating menus

I am trying to change my home page menus and when I ‘save’ changes I get a 500 internal server error:

Request Timeout

This request takes too long to process, it is timed out by the server. If it should not be timed out, please contact administrator of this web site to increase ‘Connection Timeout’.

Help please???

This issue occurs in the dashboard when trying to ‘save’ menu changes. I receive the internal error message and the menu changes are not saved.

Hi,

Maybe the execution time is limited by the server, you could try and increase the max execution time and WP memory
