My ticker height has suddenly expanded.
How do I fix this problem?

I believe your new update has created a conflict with the Cryptocurrency Widgets Pack from Blockera.
After I added the updated, the site and ticker worked fine until I made an update today. This expanded the height of the ticker. I tried disabling the plugin but the ticker height increased even more. I deleted the ticker plugin and the ticker expanded to become my entire home page.
I have a screenshot I can send if it’ll help.
I’ve restored a backup of the updated theme before I tried to make any edits to the homepage. So now I’m not sure if I made a change that created the problem, or there’s a problem with the code.
Once the problem appeared, I was no longer able to open the widget setting page.
Now with the backup of 9.01 restored I am able to access the widget plugin settings.

I can’t say about other ticker plugins, we only tested with the plugin that the cryptocurrency demo is using. This one

But the plugin has issues in the latest version and it will cause problems until fixed
