I purchased a copy of the newspaper 9.1 and having some issues with uploading images, on my wordpress site. When the theme is not set, i can upload images all day long. but when i set theme to newspaper 9.1, my uploads time out. I have adjusted my php setting, to the suggested setting in the theme panel but i still have issue. was i wrong in purchasing this theme?

Maybe try and increase the value of the WP memory and upload_max_file parameters

WP memory can be set higher than the guide recommends if possible. After doing this please check if the problem is solved. Also try to do this with no other plugins than the theme plugins active if possible. Please let us know what you find.
