I’ve disabled all plugins and still cannot figure out where this option is at once the theme is installed. Is it an additional plugin? I’d really like the gallery, but ever since I’ve installed the newspapee theme I cannot get this gallery to show up anywhere under media.
Another issue I have is no one can comment on pages, only posts. Even after I’ve enabled everything.
Hi,
The theme provides an image gallery, this one
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/gallery-2/
It will look like this – https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/td-post-aston-villa-beat-liverpool-to-join-arsenal-in-the-fa-cup-final/
It can be used in posts and pages. In a page it can be used like this
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/need-to-insert-a-grid-gallery/
The comments will appear in pages if this option is disabled, like this
– https://www.screencast.com/t/b5vlIwuaP
Also the page must not be using the latest articles page template.
This is an example of a page using the default page template, with comments
– https://www.screencast.com/t/YC3XSvYH
If you have any problems using any of the above, please provide some more details about what exactly is happening.
Thanks
I’ve already read these documents countless times. There is no option under media for me to add a gallery. Those settings that you say exist…do not exist in my panel. I’ve updated themes, disabled plugins, etc. where is this gallery at if it comes bundled?
Hi,
You need to use the Classic Editor and then create your own Gallery like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/6KlXTpDxFz -> https://www.screencast.com/t/briAYB9ygO
Thanks for your understanding!
It still does not utilize the tagdiv slider gallery after going into classic mode and following the instructions. The demo shows a slide…when I do this it posts my photos as a grid regardless of the columns I set.
Nevermind I have gotten it to work. Thank you. Not sure why it was not working.
As for comments they are disabled globally on all pages which I did not realize.
