Hi,
I have some problems with WPML.
I have solved with them the problem with the footer which wasn’t translated.
I have now a problems with cloud templates. I use them for the blog posts. If you go here https://blog.lovemaremma.com/it/visitare-la-maremma-toscana/ you can see that the sidebar it is not translated in italian. I have activated the WPML tranlsation also on cloud templates, but I can modify them in italian because the theme return an error (2 models).
How can I do that?
Thank you.
Hi,
I made some tests on my end and the same happens in my case, when attempting to translate a cloud template.
Seems cloud templates are not translatable, there will be problems as you mention. I will add this on our list to see what can be done about it. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Thanks
Hi Simion,
thank you for your answer. I have the same problem with the footer.
I have spoken with wpml and found a solution, but sometimes the theme panel lost the setting for the footer page. I have set the page for the footer, and after some time, the setting disappear and return to “no page”.
Hi,
So the footer page resets itself? I would suggest that you check the theme requirements to begin with
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
These would be recommended settings for the theme and theme plugins to function correctly, they should be set higher if possible.
WPML has these minimum requirements as well – https://wpml.org/home/minimum-requirements/
These accumulated, and with other plugins as well, may need higher requirements. Try to increase all the parameters mentioned in the guide to higher values, set the desired page again, then monitor the situation.
Also maybe there could be problems with the database, the theme panel settings are saved in the website database. Maybe your hosting provider can investigate if there are any issues with the database.
Hi,
i have a problem similar to that
In Newspaper > Theme Panel
In Footer > Footer Page ( or in Post settings > Post template and so on … )
I have set a Page (‘footer’ create with tagdiv composer in Page section) as footer page, and when i go to an article for edit, the settings reset
Another problem is that i can’t set the Post Template for the translated Page
This problem makes the functionality of the Theme unusable for translated articles with WPML
