as you can see in this screenshot
https://ibb.co/fFkSMMj
newrelic measure a problem with admin-ajax

The problem of admin-ajax is caused by wp_ajax_nopriv_td_ajax_search as you can see here:

https://ibb.co/qjZTM5j

every call to this function wp_ajax_nopriv_td_ajax_search needs up to 3 seconds (!!) …

Please, can you help me to understand what is the problem and how can I solve it?
Please consider that this wordpress website has about 15.000 articles and is on GCP google cloud platform (varnish, memcached, redis … all works properly..)

Hi,

Unfortunately, please notice that we do not have any bad reports, regarding on Ajax Search functionality until now. Check the themețs requirements from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-requirements-for-newsmag/ and ensure that all of these values have been respected. Try to make a new clean install to another sub-domain for testing, clear all the caches, purge CDN files and check if the results.

Thanks.

ok.

The problems are about 4 (four) slow queries to database.
Here you can see the queries:
https://ibb.co/CJRvtND

These queries need 50-60 sec to be executed…

Please can you tell me wich is the page that generates these queries?
so i can disable it..
is it the home page?

thank for your help

Hi,

Please notice that we do not have made our custom search and queries. We use exclusively WP_Query which is part of WordPress and also, we do not use any custom database query, sorry! Please check the following screenshots to see where these queries are used -> https://www.screencast.com/t/1MTd2e2p -> https://www.screencast.com/t/VUvmgP289Q -> https://www.screencast.com/t/V1ngmXov0R Also, another hint might be to try repairing your database from phpMyAdmin from here -> https://www.a2hosting.com/kb/cpanel/cpanel-database-features/optimizing-and-repairing-mysql-databases-with-phpmyadmin Before doing this, please make a full backup to your database to avoid losing all of your data.

Thanks for your understanding!
