Change global width (based on Fast News Demo)

Hello,

I would like to use Fast News Demo as a start point of my website.
However, after I imported the demo, not everything take appearence of the demo.

Biggest issue is that global width of the content stay at default value and don’t go to 1400px as the header do.
Where can I modify this ?

And why fonts, titles, etc are not applied correctly ?

– How to get the gradient background color in the top menu as seen in the demo ?
