Character keeps appearing in text

Hi Guys,

I’m baffled as I keep getting a backward slash added into any word that has an apostrophe like…

that\’s

I have a page here and you can see it’s throughout the copy…

If that is the case, you should consider to update the theme.

Thanks for the reply. Do you have a link for info on updating the theme?

I just want to make sure I do it right and not lose everything.

Hi,

There is a guide here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
To be safe make a full backup before you update the theme.

If you made modifications to the theme files directly these will be lost, anything else will not be affected. The theme panel settings, ad codes, custom code is saved in the website database. But it is safer to make a backup as well.
