Post thumbnails not displaying after Newspaper 9.6.1 update

I have installed Newspaper 9.6.1 theme with existing content and now my post featured images are not displaying:

The images seem to be breaking on the following code:

<img class=”entry-thumb” src=”data:image/png;base64,iVBORw0KGgoAAAANSUhEUgAAAhYAAAHOAQMAAAD+DNJPAAAAA1BMVEWurq51dlI4AAAAAXRSTlMmkutdmwAAADVJREFUeNrtwQENAAAAwiD7p7bHBwwAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAICEA3q4AAGK1CNoAAAAAElFTkSuQmCC”

and also here:

Hi,

First please make sure that this is not a plugin conflict, deactivate all non theme plugins, clear all cache and check to see if this is still happen.

This is usually from lazyload, please check our documentation for Cloudflare (CDN) -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/
Also please deactivate all non theme plugins, clear all cache and try again, is possible to have some plugins that use lazyload or may it is a plugin conflict.

If there is still a problem please provide me a link were I can inspect this problem.
