I have a widget area called Community Category that shows up on all my blog posts. It’s set in the categories area as the default. For some reason i can’t add to it. I’ve added a new text widget Called Event Calendar, with a link, and it doesn’t show. I tried added a new section for featured posts as well, and they don’t show up either. not sure what is going on? https://www.westislandblog.com/steele-leads-by-example/

So you have set as a homepage a page that was build with tagDiv Composer, if is so then the sidebar need to be set with tagDiv Composer

hi, think that helped, it’s confusing as you can set a default sidebar from the category area in the admin, but the posts don’t pull from that, they pull from the settings in the archive area.

If you are not using the single post template from tagDiv Cloud Library, the sidebar set in theme panel will be overwrite by sidebar set in post; if you are using single post templates, these do not inherit the sidebar and can be set only in template.
