Hey guys.

I recently took over this site using Newspaper and I’ve already had a bunch of issues (most of them are NOT theme related)

so when I finally wanted to start on the pages I saw a few things. I updated to the new version. Now When I make a new page or when I duplicate a page i see that the background colour is the same as the menu. AND The whole thing is boxed at the moment.

Can you help me with this? It just needs to be white.

Hi,

This can be a plugin conflict, please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate all non theme plugins, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, please deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.

Also please check the settings for background ( color and image ), this is make the content to be boxed -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/background-introduction/

Thank you!

I tried everything you say. Sadly it keeps happening. Can anyone look at the site for me?

I did fix the boxed issue.

Turns out because of the weird background colour, I chose a background colour in the COLOUR panel in theme settings. Aparantly that makes the site boxed (weird feature)

So now I changed it back.

But the colour remains. Even when i pick a template

I need some extra assistance. If you can’t fix it for me I would prefer a refund.

Hi,

So if I understand correctly now the problem is the color from your footer; if is so then please check the Theme panel> Theme color>Footer color -> https://www.screencast.com/t/cOVrnRpE
-> Theme colors introduction – https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-colors-introduction/

Thank you!

I tried this but now the colour of the footer is just different

Now that I look closely at the colour. I can’t seem to find it in the settings.

Hey guys!

Ok so like I said I inherited the page and it appears there were some custom CSS codes… It has been fixed now.

I apolagise for my anger.

This was the code

body.home div.td-main-content-wrap.td-main-page-wrap.td-container-wrap {
background-color: #ffffff;
}

Thanks for the help.
