Custom Post category

Hello,
I have noticed that we are unable to filter custom post by category or tags ( I hope this can be solved in the future as you have a greate theme, and this is really needed), however, is it possible to show only custom post from some categories in the blocks?

Thanks for the reply, those filters do not show the custom post categories, they only show the standard post.
I have Events custom pots and it has its own categories. let’s say for example I want to show only the Music category from the custom post events in the block, how can I do that?

I have already done that, I was hoping you can help me to show one category of the custom post instead of just show all. for example under vents I have a music category. can I add it somehow in the filter tab to call only the posts from this one rather than all the posts under the custom post type events?
