Custom post page

Hello,

1- I use the events calendar and it creates a custom post ( events), normally ( in other themes I used) this follows the template of the theme, however, in this case, it now showing the sidebar or any elements ( such as tags, category) in the page other than the event details?

Thanks for the reply, I saw that list very limited number of plugins. The event calendar has over 700,000 Download, and number one used calendar plugin in WordPress. it will really helpful if you can look into adding it.
The page already has sidebar activated, however, it is not showing, the event calendar usually work with the template and it does not change that, I used it before and it was fine, but in this case, the page is not showing the sidebar even when it is activated!.
Any suggestions on what to do?

Hi, I have a similar question. I am also using The Events Calendar. It creates a page for you. I can choose Default Events Template, Default Page Template, Pagebuilder + Overlay menu, Pagebuilder + latest articles + pagination, or Pagebuilder + page title. Is there any way I can create my own template that I can select from this drop down at the Event settings? Basically, I would love to have a large header image, so if I can create my own template to apply here, that would be great. I want it to still look like the theme I am using Lifestyle Magazine, but just have a header image for the Events page. Again, I am allowed to chose the template for events from a drop down, so I would like to include my own modified template there.

I think I’m a little closer. I can actually create my own page using tagDiv Composer and The Events Calendar will actually allow me to add in their default shortcode [tribe_events]. How exactly do I add that in at a page? I tried RawHTML with no luck. Thank you!

Oh I got it to work. I built my page with tagDiv Composer, saved, closed out, and then at the page editor, I just inserted the [trive_events] right into my column:

[tdc_zone type=”tdc_content”][vc_row][vc_column width="2/3"][tribe_events][/vc_column][vc_column width="1/3"][vc_widget_sidebar sidebar_id="td-default"][/vc_column][/vc_row][/tdc_zone]

Hey JKLFab, how did you make it work? Im on the same issue right now but it seems it requires to have the proplugin in order to work out.

i had to use Column Text element instead of RawHTML. please see Calin’s screenshot. it helped a lot.

But you own the Pro plugin? cause based on their site it wont work if you dont have the pro version.

I inserted the Column text element, but when I click edit content, it keeps scrolling and never opens for editing!
