multiple templates

Is ist possible to use more than one template on the same website?

We have a magazine website and like to integrate a nutrition-system, that we would
like to explain step by step.

Would it be possible to do it by attaching a diffrent design (template) to a page and have
diffrent menues?

How should we step forward?

Hi,

Depends on what you mean by different template/design. Each page can be built in it’s own way with the composer, so it can be different. Each page can have it’s own menu as well, simply select the cloud header template you want (from the ones you have built/imported)

In the cloud library we provide pages and homepages used in demos, check them out here

Maybe you find one that you like and import it, then configure it or modify it, as a quick start. If you have more questions let me know.

Thanks

I need to have a different menu on a password protected member section of the site which has hundreds of pages in it. From what Simion C. is saying in his May 28, 2019 at 1:42pm response, it would appear I’d have to create a custom header on each and every page individually to accomplish this?

I’m hoping there’s some way to be able to create a header with menu or better yet a template that can be applied to each of the pages using the Template menu in the editor. This way I create the layout once instead of hundreds of times.

Is there any way to do this?

Thanks,
SimeonN

Hi SimeonN,

If you want to have a different header on some pages/posts, you’ll need to set a general/global header in theme panel -> https://www.screencast.com/t/VEsottoh5 and this will be applied to all pages/post that do not have set an individual header ( to set individual header on pages you need to edit them and set from header manager the header, for post you’ll need to set the header on a single post template and apply it on posts ).

Thank you!
