How to show custom fields or taxonomies

Hello, I’ve created some custom posts types, taxonomies and custom fields using Pods and I want to show them in my templates created with TD Composer, i.e. in Author pages.
I’ve tried using sidebars and the Pods’ widget , which shows the custom fields related to each user/post. However, it doesn’t work when using TD Composer.
Have you plans on creating new widgets with this purpose?
All best

Hi,

If I understand correctly you want to show the Custom Post Types in blocks, you need to edit the block and look in filter tab to set the post type -> https://www.screencast.com/t/NBO8GS0t
Block settings guide -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/
For custom fields, please check this similar topic -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/custom-fields-in-block-12/

There are some new feature in the progress, but I do not know if this is on our list; if you want, I can note it as a suggestion.

Thank you!

Hello! Thank for the quick reply!! Sadly, It doesn’t answer my question. Sorry If I didn’t explain myself correctly.

I will focus my question on user profiles and their custom fields.

I’m using Templates (I’m in love with this feature, btw) for user pages and showing their social networks, description, url or image. Using Pods I would like to increase the number of custom fields and also show them in each user page.

Hi,

So you are using a plugin ( Pods ) to create custom post types and you want to show them in author (user) pages, unfortunately, we did not tested this plugin with our theme and therefore, we cannot say for sure if it will work or not as expected with the theme, sorry!

Usually, if you have a custom post type this will be show in Newspaper > Theme panel > CPT & Taxonomy https://www.screencast.com/t/TbJxdWypW also you can check our documentation for Custom Post Type Support https://forum.tagdiv.com/custom-post-type-support/ but notice that since Newspaper v9.7 most of the files was moved in tagDiv Composer plugin and the child theme will only support the function.php and style.css you can read more about this here -> https://tagdiv.com/updating-the-core-of-tagdiv-themes/

Thank you for your understanding!
