Hello. I have purchased the Newspaper theme yesterday and liked it so much. However, I would like to achieve a few features in the theme.
1. Show Modified date(without any text saying “modified date:” instead of the published date on the default templates provided within the theme.
2. I would like to achieve the above-requested feature without using the cloud library and importing anything from the library.
3. This Updated date should be visible at all places (in the blocks used in the homepage etc) instead of the published date.
Thanks in advance.
Hello !
Unfortunately this option cannot be added without adding a Single post template from the Cloud Library and using the modified date element: https://forum.tagdiv.com/design-post-pages-using-cloud-library-templates/
We are sorry for the inconvenience !
Thank you !
That’s disappointing đ
In that case, I would like to clear some doubts.
1. Since the cloud templates and use of tagdiv composer adds a lot of shortcodes on the website, will that create any issue? Will that make my site load slow or have any negative impact on any aspect of the site?
2. Does it affect my SEO?
Thanks for the response Vlad,
I’ve got one more question.
Adding the “Last modified” template from the cloud library is only used for displaying the modified date to the users right? Does it have any role in providing the updated date to search engines?
Hello !
Yes, the Last modified date appears in the meta pages wich google reads as you an see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/1bi1AYAV So google will know to display the correct date.
Thank you !
