I can’t change the style of my social counter widget if I want to place it in the sidebar. However, if I place it on a page, the style can be changed.

Hello !

The social Counter that you are placing with the TagDiv Composer is the only wich can be edited.

Thank you !

But I know a site that has the social widget in style 7 in the sidebar without any problems. It doesn’t look like this site has rewritten the plugin with CSS, the style looks very similar to the original one. Do you know a way to set this up?

This is the example page:

Hello !

As mentioned above too you will have to edit your page using the tagDiv Composer, add the Social Counter element and in the STYLE tab you can set it like the one in your photo: https://www.screencast.com/t/0HKo64rcB9

Thank you !

It’s annoying that we can’t select a style for the widget option of this…Yes we can add that style to a page, we can’t add it to the sidebar of a blog post.

Hello !

In posts you can use the Single post template and then edit it using the tagDiv Composer as you can see here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/design-post-pages-using-cloud-library-templates/

Thank you !

Why would you remove the ability to set the style within a normal widget without having to use Tagdiv Composer? This functionality was there and now has been removed. Really frustrating and may I add that you should make this very clear in the documentation since it doesn’t seem to have been updated.

Hello !

We are sorry for the inconvenience !

This is due to the changes from 10 where we encourage users to redefine their websites using the tagDiv Composer since is the plugin which will get more updates in the future.

Thank you !
