I created a home page from scratch and it worked fine for a time. Then I changed a setting in the Theme Panel (added a single page template to the Template Settings section) and then my home page is clipped off and the WP tool bar disappears, as if I’m viewing the site on a mobile device. I have AMP installed as well as all the standard tagDiv plugins.
My home page consists of the following components (in order from top to bottom):
News Ticker
Slide
Title
Big Grid Slide
Flex Block 1
Slide (repeated across 3 columns)
I would note that the clipping occurs both on my home page and in tagDiv Composer when I try to edit the home page.
Hello,
Please provide me a link where I can inspect this.
For the problem with full width, make sure that you do not have set a background color or image -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/background-introduction/
Thank you!
Hi Calin:
Here is our link: ca-news-forum.com
I have only two background elements, one is a solid colour background assigned to the header zone, the other is a solid colour background assigned to the footer zone. I am not sure if this is the right place for me to have put the background colour. Please note that when I try to edit or create a page using tagDiv, the screen display is clipped like our front page and the preview buttons for desktop, tablet and phone are not visible.
Hello,
Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv Composer, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
If you are using the Disqus plugin, please deactivate it from pages, let it only on posts.
Thank you!
Hello,
We’ve tested this plugin with our theme and for us there was no problem, also I made no I test and for me is working.
Maybe there was just a cache that was not clear, or maybe there are some conflicts between WP Super Cache plugin and other plugin.
If you want you can send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login. We will take a look. Include a link to this topic in the email.
Thank you!
