Can you take a look at my site and offer some suggestions as what I can do to improve the speed?
https://scienceandtechnologyresearchnews.com
Just transferred my site to a new hosting service. They have ID’d TDcomposer as the reason for the slowdown. They have run tests with a “clean” version of newspaper and the site loads fine. I have reinstalled the theme and the plugins. Any ideas as to why composer is causing this hangup would be appreciated.
Thanks
Hello,
Please make sure that all the settings are like in our requirements, please follow the guide carefully
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
and please increase all requirements that are lower, and follow all steps.
Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict with untested plugins, please deactivate all non theme/tested plugins, also if you are using child theme, clear all cache and try again.
Also please note that we use GTMetrix to test websites and you can see there all the issues that can be improved: https://gtmetrix.com/reports/scienceandtechnologyresearchnews.com/WnJLtnsG
Let me know the results!
Thank you !
Thanks for your help with this. I did share all the server configuration information with the tech team at my hosting service. They have made all the suggested changed to PHP memory, etc. They assure me that their servers are configured correctly.
This is the latest from the tech team and WPMU DEV (hosting company): “The issue seems to be related by the number of queries run by the tagDiv theme/plugin and it’s constantly running CPU usage on high percentage.
When the page is cached the load is fine so if you have some automated cache clearing configured in WP Super Cache it’s possible that it clears cache at some point and then you experience slow loading times again.
From what I see it’s timeout is set to 30 minutes so between the cache being cleared and new cache file being created the loading times will be affected.
Server configurations are usually different so we can’t be sure why the tagDiv is behaving differently than on Bluehost, it could be that it’s not working fine with Memcache or some other server settings but it’s definitely something with tagDiv if you see your site running fine when that is disabled.”
Anything you can do to help with this, would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Ray
Thanks. I don’t have the expertise to do this unless it’s fairly easy.
Any other suggestions?

Hello !
@pmartines we recommend you using a footer template from the cloud library. That is the recommended method after removing the standard pack plugin. Please note that all the cloud templates are fully editable using tagDiv Composer.
@chicky365 please provide a link to your website.
Thank you !
Hello !
Those are the fonts used by the theme. Please note that we recommend you using 1-2 fonts / site. For that you will have to edit your page using tagDiv Composer and make sure that you are not using multiple fonts: https://www.screencast.com/t/wkJDQNi0WW
Thank you !
