Mobile In-Article Auto Ads Not Showing After Update

We updated to Newspaper X and added three AdSense tags to the “Article Inline Ad” sections on the Cloud Templates. After we did that, the three ads show up fine in articles on Desktop. But now, when you look on mobile, it is no longer adding auto ads to articles. I’m not sure if the two are related, but it happened after the Newspaper X update.

Here’s an article that should definitely have inline auto ads on mobile but doesn’t anymore:

I have the proper AdSense code in the AMP Ads section in the Mobile Theme settings.

Hello !

We have inspected your website using multiple mobile devices and all the auto ads render on our side. Please make sure that you do not have cache, clear it and check again.

Thank you !

I’m definitely still not seeing in-article auto ads on my iPhone 11 using Safari. I’ve cleared both the site’s cache and my browser’s cache. The only in-article ad I see is the one I set manually after the second paragraph in Mobile Theme > Mobile Ads > Article Inline Ad.

Hello !

As you can see it here: https://www.screencast.com/t/ZnsNccXf2Z This is how a regular visitor sees your website on mobile device. Do you have the posibility to test this on another device in order to be 100% sure ?

Thank you !

That is the one in-article ad I set manually in Mobile Theme > Mobile Ads > Article Inline Ad. Before the Newspaper X update, AdSense Auto Ads would ad more ads below that in the article, but those are gone now.

Hi, I’m having the same issue here. I inserted an auto ad ever 5 paragraphs but it only shows on the first paragraph and doesn’t increment.

How is this fixed? Thank you.

Hello !

Please send us a screenshot of your System Status Tab and make sure that all the requirements are met as you can see here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ ; You will have to first start looking for a plugin conflict. please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.

Also you can try and remove and re-install the tagDiv Composer plugin and please send us a link to your website in order to take a look.

Let us know the results.

Thank you !

Hi Vlad,

Thank you for your reply.

Here is a screenshot of my system status – https://imgur.com/74ifwhA
Also screenshot of my ads page in the system panel – https://imgur.com/zokhJmD and https://imgur.com/nimCGUD

It happens prominently in mobile pages like this – https://insideios.com/our-2021-ipad-pro-and-ipados-15-wish-list/?amp=1 The ads only gets inserted in the first paragraph and doesn’t increment to insert in every 4 or 5 paragraphs.

Thank you and hopping to hear from you soon.

Hello !

That option makes the ads to appear only once after the number of paragraphs set. That will not repeat after each 5 paragraphs for example, It will be displayed once after X paragraphs.

Thank you !

Yes, I understand that. So it means that after every 5 paragraphs, it adds an ad once. But it doesn’t in my case as even if I place any number from 1-8, it only adds ads once. and doesn’t incrementally add to the next paragraph.

Hello,

As Vlad said, when you add an inline ad, you have to set the paragraph number after which you want it to appear, it does not increment, it will appear only once.
This is a video, that can help you => https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=biTpVVlr8j8
